The invention relates to a stereo X-ray device having two X-ray sources (2, 3) arranged at a short distance from each other, the central rays of which intersect in the pick-up area, and having an X-ray image intensifier television chain (5 to 18) which exhibits an X-ray image intensifier (5), on the luminescent input screen of which the images generated after one another in time by the two X-ray sources (2, 3) appear, a television camera (7) for recording the X-ray image intensifier output images, storage means (9, 10) connected to the television camera (7), to the outputs of which storage means addition stages (11, 12) are connected in which signals from a marking circuit (13) are superimposed on the video signals, and a display device (16) for stereo images. Connected to the storage means (9, 10) is a detection circuit (26) which is connected to the marking circuit (13). The detection circuit (26) is constructed in such a manner that it detects, and automatically continues, contours identified by the marking, and subsequently only reproduces these selected contours. <IMAGE>
