PURPOSE:The titled bath agent, obtained by incorporating hot spring inorganic components in a weakly acidic bath agent prepared by impregnating other components with gaseous carbon dioxide or containing a carbonate and an acid and capable of further enhancing the bathing effect due to vasodilator action of the gaseous carbon dioxide, etc. CONSTITUTION:A weakly acidic bath agent obtained by incorporating (A) hot spring inorganic components, e.g. spray-dried material from hot water of KUSATSU ONSEN, and, as necessary, (C) a crude drug, e.g. Japanese angelica root, together in (A) a weakly acidic bath agent prepared by impregnating other components with gaseous carbon dioxide or containing a carbonate and an acid, preferably at 5-80wt% carbonate and 10-80wt% acid and capable of exhibiting 4-7, particularly 6.0-6.7pH of a 0.01wt% aqueous solution thereof, and capable of remarkably improving the blood circulation promoting effect and effect on keeping of the body warm, etc., of the above-mentioned bath agent by the synergistic effect of the components (A)-(C). The above-mentioned bath agent gives a good influence on the skin due to the weak acidity thereof and exhibits improved blood circulation promoting effect due to the gaseous carbon dioxide present as CO2 molecules. The amounts of the components (B) and (C) based on the total composition are preferably as follows: 0.5-10wt% component (B) and 0.001-10wt% component (C).
