The sealing capacity of points of intersection of facade elements, in particular glass wall parts, is improved in a simple manner in that a dimensionally stable, thin sealing plate is provided with legs (1b) which run some way in the direction of facade covering strips (5) and with at least one branch-off portion (1a) which projects from the plate (1) in the direction of the other covering strips (5a), and in that the underside, directed away from the covering strips (5, 5a), of the plate (1) and of the legs (1b) and of the branch-off portion (1a) is provided with an elastically deformable sealing plate (2).
