In hose fittings, the hose end which is clamped in between an outer sleeve and an inner bush frequently exhibits the tendency for the elastomeric material to flow under the influence of high internal pressures, as a result of which the initial pressure-tightness is no longer ensured. The invention avoids the otherwise necessary retightening of the fitting parts by the use of a bush which is sprung in the radial direction and, as a consequence of its elastic expansion capability, compensates for the contraction of the elastomer and maintains the original clamping state within the fitting.
