摘要 To calculate the throughput of a drum filter, the values kg/dm<2> of filter cake, m<2> filter surface area and minutes per drum rotation must be known. Since the constant stroke of the pivot apparatus generates horizontal traces on the filter cake and the speed of rotation of the filter drum determines the distance between traces (fields), the speed of rotation of the drum can be determined from the number of fields per cell. The scale division of the balance is configured in such a way that the filter throughput in t/h can be read off from the two variables kg/dm<2> of filter cake and F (fields per cell). The advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that to determine the throughput of the drum filter, neither a time-consuming time recording of the filter rotary speed nor a calculation from a formula is required. <IMAGE>
