摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify constitution and to enable high speed measurement with high accuracy, by scanning an optical system to be examined while the angle of inclination of slit like illuminated luminous flux is changed. CONSTITUTION:The eye 1 to be examined of an optical system to be examined fixed and observed by a fixed observation optical system 10 is scanned by slit like infrared luminous fluxes having different angles of inclination due to a chopper 13 equipped with a light source 11, a condensing lens 12 and slit shaped openings 14a, 14b having different angles of inclination. the infrared luminous fluxes reflected from the eyeground of an eye 7 are received by a photoelectric converter element 18 having plural pairs of light receiving surfaces and the refractive power of the eye 7 is measured from the output phase difference between light receiving surfaces forming a pair with a slit angle-of- inclination discriminating signal. By this method, it is unnecessary to use a plurality of light sources such as two light sources and refractive power can be rapidly measured with high accuracy by a measuring apparatus easy to form and having simple constitution.
