PURPOSE:To obtain a device that can realize stable sectioning of a periodical histogram on which influences of noise is small by treating the crest of a histogram macroscopically by a statistical method. CONSTITUTION:A secondary moment M is compared with a minimum moment Mmin (at present Minfinity) stored in a minimum moment memory device 13 by a comparator 150. As it is always M<Minfinity at first, the comparator 150 sends out a renewal signal 151 to a minimum moment memory device 130 and a minimum moment dividing point memory device 160. Minfinity stored in the minimum moment memory device 130 is changed by the renewal signal 151 to the secondary moment M inputted from a moment arithmetic unit 140, and the minimum moment Mmin is renewed. At the same time, dividing point thetad (0 deg.) at present is stored by the renewal signal 151 in the minimum moment dividing point memory device 160 from a dividing point memory device 120 as a minimum moment dividing point thetadmin. |
