摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity of the title sensor, by forming a specified membrane responsive body to the other surface of an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte having an electrode mounted to the single surface thereof and mounting a ring shaped electrode and a resistance measuring electrode to the upper surface of the responsive body. CONSTITUTION:A responsive body membrane 1 is formed by applying a material, which is prepared by adding at least one of Pt and Pd to a composition obtained by baking a mixture of oxide specified by formula I and oxide specified by formula II, onto a zirconia solid electrolyte plate 5 by a flame spraying or screen printing method. A ring shaped electrode 2 for withdrawing oxygen and the resistance measuring electrode 3 of the responsive body membrane 1 are mounted by a method wherein a Pt-paste is applied and a ceramic plate 6 is adhered before baking. A lead wire 4 is connected to the electrode 2 and a lead wire 4 is connected to the electrode 3 through the central hole of the plate 6. Cement 7 is applied not only to the central hole of the plate 6 but also to the side part of the connection body of the plate 6 and the electrolyte plate 5. By this method, the sensitivity of the sensor can be enhanced.
