Process for producing composite bodies

The invention relates to the production of composite bodies from reformable moulding material and an initially formable moulding compound. The aim of the invention is a reduced outlay for the production and for joining the parts, comprising various materials, of the composite body and an improvement of the functional properties of the joining region. The object of the invention is to implement the production of the parts and their joining together with a limited number of process steps, the joining region between the materials being direct, non-releasable and gap-free. This object is achieved according to the invention by laying a reformable moulding material as semi-finished product in a mould and reshaping it by means of, as pressure transfer medium, a moulding material which is in the state of initial formability, and pressing it into the contours corresponding to the pressure direction, and fixing the moulding material, which is subject to pressure, in its geometrical development, filling the other contours of the mould. Fields of application of the invention are the production of force-transmitting and movement-transmitting elements, adaptors, bearings and insulating bodies.
