发明名称 METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CONTINUOUS CASTING OF STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the probability of predicting breakdown by oscillating vertically a casting mold, detecting the displacement and reaction of the mold oscillation, calculating the frictional forces of the mold and ingot, measuring the temp. near the inside surface of the mold in contact with the ingot and comparing the frictional forces and temp. with respective reference values. CONSTITUTION:The signal from a temp. detector 11 of the casting mold 2 is inputted to an arithmetic unit 12 for processing the mold temp. The oscillation displacement of the mold 2 is detected by a differential transformer 7 attached to an oscillating table 1 and the oscillation resistance of the mold 2 by a pin type load cell 8. The detection signals are inputted to an arithmetic unit 13 for the friction between the mold and the ingot. The units 12, 13 compare the respective received signals with the reference values and predict independently the breakdown. A signal judging device 14 inputs the signal for preventing the breakdown to a control device 15 for process operation conditions at the point of the time when the device receives simultaneously the signals for breakdown prediction from the units 12, 13. The device 15 controls the oscillation frequency and amplitude of a driving device 3 for oscillating the casting mold as well as the flow rate of the cooling water for the ingot in an ingot cooling zone 10 right under the casting mold according to the operation conditions just before the above-mentioned point of the time by the various signals from the device 14, thereby preventing the breakdown of the ingot.
