Device for attaching a tape (70) to a support, especially a tear- open tape to corrugated cardboard, cardboard, paper or the like, which is transported at a predetermined speed, with a stand, attachment means arranged in the stand for selectively applying the tape to the support, at least one supply roll (20) which is mounted rotatably in the stand and from which the tape is fed to the attachment means, and a control device for controlling the attachment means. A controllable drive device can be selectively coupled to the roll which is assigned a movable deflecting roller (42) connected to an adjusting device. The roll can be selectively coupled to a controllable braking device (31, 32), and the control device so activates the adjusting device, approximately simultaneously with an activation of the drive for accelerating the roll or with the activation of the braking device for decelerating the roll, that the deflecting roller (42) lengthens the path of the tape (70) to the attachment means. |
