PURPOSE:To improve the follow-up property of servo control by controllably changing gain according to the output in every predetermined cycle of a register while supplying the gain to a spindle feed gain controller the output of which is supplied to a position servo system. CONSTITUTION:The servo signal of a judging circuit 18 permits an AND circuit to generate the AND output which is integrated for a predetermined time in an UP-DOWN counter 26. The values counted by the counter 26 in every predetermined time are held by a register 28 to be supplied to the input of a spindle feed gain controller 52. Thereafter similar operations are repeated to control the spindle feed gain from said controller 52 as a function of the difference between the output values of the register to reduce the spindle feed gain when the difference between the present output value and the right preceding one of the register 28 is larger than a set value. Also, when said difference is smaller than the set value, the servo signal for controlling said gain to a predetermined value is generated to a sample value control system. Thus, the servo control having satisfactory follow-up property can be provided.
