PURPOSE:To adjust blur of a displayed reproduced picture and to obtain a desired picture quality by cyclically changing a space frequency characteristic of a two-dimensional filter of a dynamic area interpolating section and changing over an emphasis characteristic. CONSTITUTION:When a power source of a television receiver is energized, a counter 27 is initially reset to have a counting content of zero, and at the same time, from an output terminal b1 of a multiplexer 28, the first designating signal is outputted and a ROMm1 is designated to respective memory circuits M1-M3 of respective transversal filters 21-23. Then, when pressing a switch 25, the counting content of the counter goes to 1 and from an output terminal b2 of the multiplexer 28, the second designating signal is outputted and a ROMm2 is designated to the respective memory circuits M1-M3 of the respective filters 21-23. Thereafter, every time when the switch 25 is pressed, the counting content of the counter 27 is changed successively as 2, 0, 1, 2.... Accordingly, by pressing the switch 25 and changing and setting an emphasis characteristic of a space area by a dynamic area interpolating section 13 to a desired characteristic, the picture quality of the reproduced picture displayed on a CRT 11 is adjusted to a desired picture quality. |
