PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the Barkhausen noise by changing the magnetic field inputted to a magneto-resistance effect element and a flux guide at a speed sufficiently higher than the traveling speed of magnetic domain walls, preventing the irreversible movement of the domain walls and leaving only the rotation for magnetization. CONSTITUTION:When a DC current is supplied from a driving current circuit 11, a high-frequency bias circuit 14 is connected to a bias conductor contact terminal 16a, a high-frequency current is passed through a bias conductor 7 for a magneto-resistance effect element and a bias conductor 8 as a flux guide and the frequency is changed at a speed sufficiently higher than the responding speed of the domain walls of a magneto-resistance effect element 2 and a rear flux guide 5. Accordingly, the magnetic flux introduced from a front flux guide 4 is superposed by a magnetic field generated by the high-frequency bias current and inputted to the magneto-resistance effect element 2 and the rear flux guide 5, and the domain walls present in the magneto-resistance effect element 2 and the rear flux guide 5 are immobilized even with the input signal magnetic field. Consequently, the Barkhausen noise can be prevented. |
