PURPOSE:To uniformize air speed distribution substantially to secure high heat exchanging efficiency and reduce noise by a method wherein the end section of a fan at the side of a supporting plate is surrounded by an annular air deflecting equipment to deflect high-speed blow-off air discharged from the side of the supporting plate. CONSTITUTION:The end section 31 of the fan at the side of supporting plate 13 is surrounded by the annular air deflecting equipment 30 to receive the air, discharged from the side of supporting plate 13, as shown by full line arrow sign in the diagram and deflect it downward obliquely. Accordingly, air speed at the side of upper part of the heat exchanger 21 is decreased and the same at the lower part of the heat exchanger 21 is increased whereby the air speed distribution is uniformed substantially and the heat exchanging efficiency is improved. Further, the air speed of high-temperature discharging air itself, discharged from the side of the supporting plate 13, is reduced in case the air is deflected by a slanted plate 34, therefore, collision of the air against the central part 43 of the heat exchanger 21 may be mitigated and noise may be reduced. |
