PURPOSE:To flatten the surface of an electroconductive body and to prepare a copy picture image having high quality by forming a cylindrical photosensitive layer on an inside peripheral surface of a mold by a rotational molding process and charging a monomer and an electroconductive filler to the mold, and forming an electroconductive supporting body on the internal peripheral surface of the mold by carrying out polymn. of the monomer. CONSTITUTION:A syruplike material is prepd. by polymerising preliminarily a monomer such as methyl methacrylate together with a photoconductive material such as CdS. The syruplike material is charged in the mold and the mold is sealed after replacing the air in the mold and is rotated around a horizontal shaft core to cause polymn. of the monomer by a rotational molding process to form a cylindrical photosensitive layer having a uniform thickness on the internal peripheral surface of the mold. A second syruplike material is prepd. by a preliminary polymn. of methyl methacrylate in the presence of trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate as a crosslinking agent, and aluminium powder as a conductive filler, and obtd. syruplike material is added to the cylindrical photosensitive layer which is polymerized under the same condition by the rotational molding process to form a conductive supporting body on the internal peripheral surface of the cylindrical photosensitive layer. The photoconductive supporting body 2 provided with a photosensitive layer 1 is removed from the mold, to which a supporting body 3 comprising a drum is fitted. |
