PURPOSE:To improve the transparency by a method wherein a core material is covered by a sleeve-shaped double-woven girdle braided with transparent inorganic or organic unidirectional fibers and inserted in a molding tool in the state that the girdle is put into tension vertically and transparent resin is fed under pressure in the highly vacuumized molding voidless under vacuum and cured by heating. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a metal core material 1 is coated with releasing agent and, after that, the outer peripheral surface of the core material 1 is covered by a double- woven girdle, which is braided with unidirectional fibers and both the ends of which are fixed by means of tapes. The core material 1 covered by the braided double-woven girdle 2 is inserted in the mold main body 5 of a molding tool 16 and held at the center of a cavity 4 by an upper and a lower holding tools 6 and 7. Secondly, the cavity 4 is vacuumized through a deaerating hole 12 with a vacuum pump 14 and transparent resin 3 is fed under pressure from a resin injection unit through a hose 11b and an inlet 9 in the cavity 4. By pulling the core material out of a laminate, a voidless structure, onto the surface of an outer layer 17 of which the surface of the inner wall of the mold main body 5 can be transferred and consequently the transparency of which is good, is obtained. |
