PURPOSE:To obtain an animal-shaped food having independently expressed individual legs or ears, by grooving parts corresponding to the legs or ears of a food material to be extruded through a nozzle into the animal shape before expanding the material. CONSTITUTION:A cutting off cutter 3 and a grooving cutter 4 are provided opposite to a nozzle tip 2, and an extruded food material is cut by a cutter blade 9 of the cutting off cutter 3. Grooves 6 are formed by a cutter blade 11 of the grooving cutter 4 in parts corresponding to legs of an animal of the food material, and cut off by the cutter blade 9. The food material extruded through the nozzle tip 2 is rapidly expanded to give the aimed animal-shaped food (P) having separated forelegs and hind legs.
