PURPOSE:To form a driving route for an unmanned carrier which is never scattered in the far distances by providing an emitting part to emit the light beams approximately parallel to the road surface. CONSTITUTION:A light beam emitting device 1 consists of a light source 2 which produces a laser beam, a fixed prism 3, a mobile prism 4, etc. The prism 3 is fixed at the front part of a rack 5 and reflects the laser beam sent from the source 1 to the upper part. Then the prism 4 emits forward the laser beam reflected by the prism 3 so that the means is set approximately parallel to the road surface 7. Then the prism 4 is moved up and down for production of the parallel beams B having large width and in response to the vertical shift amounts of the prism 4 to emit the beam B. The beam B are never scattered even in the far distances. Thus an unmanned carrier 20 travels along the driving route formed by the wide beams B.
