PURPOSE:To improve a lubricating condition in a cylinder and reduce consumption of lubricating oil, by arranging oil injecting holes of a cylinder liner in plural rows for the sliding direction of a piston and setting oil injecting timing of the hole in an upper positioned row to be delayed from the oil injecting timing of the hole in a lower positioned row. CONSTITUTION:A two-cycle engine, whose piston bore/stroke ratio largely exceeds three, sets each row of oil injecting holes 5, 4, 3 of a cylinder liner 1 to its positions A, B, C so that the center position of said each row is distant respectively, for instance, about 40%, 60%, 855 by stroke ratio of a piston 2 from its bottom dead center position. And the engine sets oil injecting end timing of each oil injecting hole 5, 4, 3 in the vicinity of a crank angle where the first staged piston ring 6 of the piston 2 reaches each oil injecting hole 5, 4, 3. By this way, the engine can reduce a consumption rate of lubricating oil by enabling a spread of the cylinder lubricating oil in the sliding direction to be improved. |
