PURPOSE:To make it possible to operate an AF circuit only when the circuit is in a camera recording mode that requires the AF circuit by providing a selector circuit that makes the AF circuit ON only when it is discriminated that an input adapter is not connected and that the mode of VTR is recording mode. CONSTITUTION:When an AF circuit/MF circuit change-over switch 1 is in MF side, the AF circuit is made OFF by an AF circuit ON/OFF selector circuit 4, and when the switch is in AF side, mode is discriminated by a mode discriminating circuit 2. If it is not in a recording mode, the AF circuit is mode OFF by the AF circuit ON/OFF selector circuit 4. In the case of the recording mode, it is checked by an input adapter connection discriminating circuit 3 whether an input adapter is connected or not. When it is connected, the AF circuit is made OFF by the AF circuit ON/OFF selector circuit 4, and if not, the AF circuit is made ON. |
