The cap for writing equipment (1) comprises an air vent (11) in the top portion, means installed on the inner peripheral face for providing airtightness (12), a miniature cap (20) movably enclosed in the axial direction of a space formed with the inner top face, the inner peripheral face and the means for providing airtightness; a resilient seal (21) positioned on top of the miniature cap for blocking the ventilation between the air vent and the inside of the cap when the pen body (6) is inserted into the cap from the tip (61) thereof and rebounders (22) for pressing the miniature cap against the pen body (6). The means for providing airtightness is so positioned as to block the ventilation in the longitudinal direction sothat there is no loss of solvent during storage. The air vent is so arranged that air is not compressed in the trunk of the pen when fitting the cap so that an detachment of the cap ink does not spout out of the tip of the pen.
