The present invention relates to a logging tool for cross- cutting and accumulation of tree trunks, which tool is constituted by a frame pivotably attached to the crane arm of a work vehicle and comprising a gripping device 2, an accumulating device 5, a feed-in device 4 and a cutting device 3. The invention is characterized in that the gripping device is constituted by a pair of elongated, essentially straight or somewhat bent movable gripping arms 20,21, which are situated on the upper section of the frame 10 and can embrace and secure the trees to be cut, in that the accumulating device 5 is constituted by a perpendicularly projecting, essentially straight arm 50, fixed to a middle section of the frame, and a therewith interacting, movable, angularly bent arm 51, in that the cutting device 3 is constituted by a cutting arm 30, which is movable on the lower section of the frame and interacts with a fixed cutting edge 31 disposed on that side of the horizontal base plate 32, forming part of the tool, which faces away from the frame, and in that the feed-in device 4 is constituted by a feed-in arm 40 which is situated somewhat above the cutting device 3 and feeds the cut tree trunks, supported on the base plate, into the accumulating device. <IMAGE> |
