PURPOSE:To make the constitution simple and contrive to raise the thermal efficiency in a burner unit for furnace heating, etc. by placing a block body made of ceramics for heat-exchange inside of a burner casing and constituting the burner unit so that the air being taken-in performs heat exchange with the exhaust gas in the block body. CONSTITUTION:The air is led into the burner casing 8 from the air intake opening 9 and then it is led to a burner 2 as shown by the arrow 8b in the figure through the air flow channel 13 in a ceramic block 12 to be mixed with a gas and the mixture burns. The combustion gas heats the inside of the furnace and it is discharged from the exhaust gas discharge outlet 10 through a communication opening 11a, exhaust gas channel 14. During this time, heat exchange is made between the air that is taken in through the air channel 13 of the ceramic block body 12 and the exhaust gas passing through the being exhaust gas channel 14. The heat exchange preheats the air taken-in. With this constitution thermal efficiency and heatability can be improved and the constitution simplified. |
