PURPOSE:To prevent the short-circuit of air as well as the deterioration of heat exchanging efficiency by a method wherein an auxiliary ventilating path, bypassing a heat exchanger, is branched from a ventilating path and is opened between a suction port and a blow-off port in the air-conditioning unit of a type such as ceiling-embedded type or the like. CONSTITUTION:Most of indoor air, sucked through the suction port 2 and sent by a fan 6 under being pressureized, passes through heat exchangers 7, 7, effects heat exchange and is blown off through the main ventilating paths 14, 14 and the blow-off ports 3, 3 as air-conditioning air Wa of low speed and large flow amount. At the same time, a part of the indoor air bypasses the heat exchanger 7 and passes through the auxiliary ventilating paths 10, 11, thereafter, is blown off through auxiliary blow-off ports 12, 13 as auxiliary blow-off air Wb, Wc. The auxiliary blow-off air Wb, Wc of high speed and small volume act as air curtains for suction air Wd and blow-off air Wa and the short-circuit of air is prevented, therefore, the air-conditioning air Wa is arrived at places, which are far form the air conditioning unit. Accordingly, air condition of the whole of the room may be effected uniformly and the deterioration of heat exchanging efficiency may be prevented. |
