PURPOSE:To enable the reduction of displacement of characters, by making equal the moving direction of a pen positioned in the end of writing of a character, and by forming the writing order of characters so that a mechanism of the start of writing of characters and the unsteadiness of holding of a pen be actuated in one direction constantly. CONSTITUTION:In the writing order of characters, and in that of a character Q in particular, the position (a) of the start of writing thereof is a position to which a pen lowers from above, while the point (c) of the end of writing is located at a position to which the pen lowers from above after it is once moved, in a pen-up state, to a point (b) located above a reference line. When the next character P is printed, therefore, the serif portion (d) of P is drawn in accordance with the reference line. As for underlined characters and underlined bold characters, the pen is once moved, in the up state, to a point (d) positioned above the reference line after an underline is printed, and then is returned again to the point (a) to print a character N. The serif portion (c) of the character N is thereby drawn on the reference line without causing any displacement. |
