<p>PURPOSE:To restrain such components as an engine main body, a propeller shaft, and a differential gear from being damaged by outside causes as minimum as possible by arranging the above said components in spaces divided by a body frame. CONSTITUTION:A body frame 1 of a saddle riding type four wheel car is integrally formed into a basket form by combining pipe members in place, and an engine 2 is arranged at the rear side (to the right shown in the figure) within a space divided by the body frame 1. Besides, a transmission 2a is integrally installed in a space behind the engine 2, and rear wheels 3 are connected with a rear axle 2b which is extended from the transmission 2a. Meanwhile, a differential gear 4 is arranged at the front side of the frame 1, and front wheels 5 are connected with a front axle 4a which is extended from the transmission 4, and the engine 2 is connected with the differential gear 4 by a propeller shaft 6 so as to transmit power.</p> |
