<p>PURPOSE:To increase the adsorption capacity and to make an apparatus small in size by bringing the precooled air into contact with a CO2 adsorbent which is cooled at the temp. higher than this precooling temp. and adsorbing CO2 to the adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:After precooling air preferably at 0--100 deg.C, it is brought into contact with a CO2 adsorbent such as zeolite which is cooled at the temp. higher than the cooling temp. of air and CO2 contained in air is adsorbed to the adsorbent. The cooling of the adsorbent and the precooling of air are properly performed by using a compression type refrigerator and a J-T expansion cycle refrigerator or the like. The freezing of water onto the surface of the adsorbent is not caused by making the cooling temp. of the CO2 adsorbent a little higher than the cooling temp. of air and the adsorption capacity is increased.</p> |
