PURPOSE:To operate a machine with minimum switches by indicating a function signal processing part how to convert a signal from each function switch and converting it into a specific driven part drive command signal. CONSTITUTION:The signal from the function switch 22 is received by the function signal processing part 31, which reads contents of a signal selection indicating part 30 and a function signal processing indicating part 28 and converts them into a signal on a par with an operation switch 11. Said signal is transmitted to an indicating signal processing part 15 to drive motors M1 and m17 of parts to be driven. According to the command of the function signal processing indicating part 28, the contents operated by respective function switches 22-25 are displayed on a CRT screen 21 at parts corresponding to the function switches 22-25. Thus the function switches limited by the contents of the function signal indicating part can be substituted for various machine drive switches, whereby a cost can be cut down.
