PURPOSE:To obtain the titled toner having a good electrocharging property, and capable of displaying always stable electrocharging property during an use and capable of giving a vivid picture which does not generate a fog, by incorporating a magnetic body treated with a zirconium-aluminium coupling agent into the titled toner. CONSTITUTION:The prescribed coupling agent is composed of a low molecular weight polymer contg. zirconium and aluminium, and has both org. and inorg. properties and also has a structure in which two sorts of org. ligands are present in a mainchain, and one side of the ligand of the aluminium acylate part is bound to the surface of an inorg. filler, and the another side of the ligand of the zirconium part effects as the effective and stable org. reactive group. The prescribed coupling agent reacts for a short period at a room temp. As the prescribed reactive coupling agent is used during a kneading step, a binding resin and the prescribed magnetic body may be uniformly mixed integrally. If an another coloring matter is existed together with the prescribed binding resin and the magnetic body, as the coupling agent displays its function during the kneading step, the effect of adding the coupling agent in the kneading step prevails to the coloring matter. |
