CHITOSAN-SUPPORTED PALLADIUM CATALYST AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the catalyst having a superior hydrogenation selectivity by supporting a required amount of activated palladium onto the chitosan bulk material containing a specific amino-radical and having a specific surface area. CONSTITUTION:0.2-20wt% activated palladium is supported on the porous chitosan bulk material containing 60-98mol% amino radical and having >=50m<2>/g specific surface area in order to obtain the catalyst for producing monoene compounds having one ethylene-series unsaturated bond which is obtained by hydrogen-treating a diene compound having two ethylenic unsaturated bonds and then by reducing selectively only one bond of the unsaturated bonds. By using such porous chitosan, the catalyst having a superior hydrogenation selectivity can be obtained even if without carrying out the post-treatment such as amine-treatment, etc.
