REMOVING METHOD FOR CARBON DIOXIDE

PURPOSE:To increase an adsorption capacity and to make a device small-sized by precooling air and thereafter bringing it into contact with the cooled adsorbent of CO2 and adsorbing CO2 to the adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:After precooling air preferably upto 0--100 deg.C, it is brought into contact with a CO2 adsorbent preferably cooled at 0--100 deg.C such as zeolite to adsorb CO2 contained in air to the adsorbent. The cooling of the adsorbent is properly performed with a compression type refrigerator and a J-T expansion cycle refrigerator or the like and the precooling of air is properly performed by using a shell and tube heat exchanger or the like. Also the regeneration of the adsorbent is preferably performed at room temp. - 50 deg.C. In such a way, the adsorption capacity of CO2 is increased and the device can be made small-sized.
