PURPOSE:A bathing agent showing improved bathing effects without raising a salt concentration, containing cyclodextrin or a cyclodextrin derivative having absorbed a carbonic acid gas. CONSTITUTION:A carbonic acid is brought into contact with cyclodextrin or a cyclodextrin derivative under high pressure, and cyclodextrin or the cyclodextrin derivative having absorbed and containing the carbonic acid gas stably is obtained, to give a bathing agent containing it. The bathing agent has property to release the carbonic acid gas absorbed and contained in it by bringing it into contact with water. Preferably the bathing agent provides warm water whose liquid property is weakly acidic when it is added to warm water and it gives 0.01 aqueous solution of the bathing agent whose pH is 4-7, especially 6-6.7, and it is preferably blended with a proper amount of an acidic substance such as succinic acid, fumaric acid, phosphoric acid, etc. |
