PURPOSE:To enable an ink containing capacity to be enlarged, by a construction wherein a large-capacity first ink liquid chamber provided with a gas permeation-resistant flexible film on one side thereof and a small-capacity second ink liquid chamber are communicated to each other through a filter. CONSTITUTION:A resin container 1 has a construction wherein the gas permeation-resistant flexible resin film 2 is adhered so that it can freely become protuberant and recessed according to the residual amount of a deaerated ink 4 in the first ink liquid chamber 3, and the large-capacity first ink liquid chamber 3 and the small-capacity second ink liquid chamber 7 having the second ink-supplying passage 8 are communicated to each other by the first ink- supplying passage 6 through the filter 5. By this, bubbles are prevented from being generated, and even if a bubble is generated, it can be trapped by the filter 5, and pressure variations arising from scanning vibration of a carriage is damped by the resistance in the passage 6 and the flexibility of the film 2 of the second ink liquid chamber 7. In addition, the ink containing capacity can be enlarged. |
