PURPOSE:To enable parallel operation of fuel supply and ignition timing by applying start trigger onto engine rotation detecting means of first CPU with predetermined timing of crank angle signal to be fed to second CPU. CONSTITUTION:First CPU 1 for operating fuel injection has means for detecting at least one engine parameter or engine rotation. On the basis of crank angle signal T24 to be fed from crank angle sensor 16 immediately after provision of TDC signal from TDC sensor 15, second CPU 2 for operating the ignition timing will detect the first stage (0) and following stages in crank angle positions defined into six between TDC positions. Upon detection of stage 3, trigger signal is received from CPU 2 through operation starting trigger signal line 26 to execute operating program of CPU 1.
