PURPOSE:An antiplasmin agent useful as a hemostatic, etc., having medicinal effects different from those of existing drugs of the same kind, such as suppres sion of fibrinogen decomposition, etc., comprising a specific lysine ester deriva tive or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. CONSTITUTION:An antiplasmin agent comprising a compound shown by the formula X-Lys-O-R<1> (X is phenylcarbonyl, phenylsulfonyl or phenyl-ethylcarbonyl which may contain methyl group at the para-position, group shown by the formula I-formula V, H-Ile-Tys, or H-Ile-Phe;R<1> is 1-7C alkyl, phenyl which may contain alkyl, group shown by the formula VI, para-benzoylphenyl, para-N, N-dimethylaminophenylethyl, or cyclohexyl which may contain 1-2C alkyl;R<2> is 2-3C alkylene) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, having affinity for the active center of plasmin, acting on the center to effectively suppress the action of plasmin.
