PURPOSE:To adjust easily and exactly the position of a magnetic head by simple constitution, by providing a projecting part on a fixed base having a magnetic head, and providing a groove which is engaged to the projecting part, on a plate spring of a movable base having a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:Gimbal springs 7a, 7b and magnetic heads 8a, 8b are attached to a fixed base 10 and a movable base 5, an opening groove 11a of a plate spring 11 is inserted into a projecting part 10b, an opening groove 13a of a thin plate piece 13 for holding a pressure spring 14 is pressed into the projecting part 10b, a screw 12 is made to pass through holes 13b, 11b and screwed into a screw hole 10c, and the plate spring 11 is tightened temporarily. A position shift of the magnetic heads 8a, 8b is within a range in which a position can be measured roughly by an automatic machine, and by the automatic machine, the position shift of the magnetic heads 8a, 8b can be measured. A fine adjustment of the heads 8a, 8b is executed by inserting adjusting chuck rod 15 into an adjusting hole 11c, and moving it in a prescribed direction, and the screw 12 is tightened.
