<p>PURPOSE:To decrease a tape winding angle to an inclined guide and to stabilize a tape running by providing a pair of inclined guides in accordance with a magnetic tape installed and racked to a cylinder, and providing a roughly parallel guide to each other on the intermediate part of the inclined guides. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 12 loaded with a magnetic head is positioned at the opening part 51 of a tape cassette 33, and a return guide 59 having a prescribed inclination angle in accordance with a magnetic tape 58, the first inclined guide 60 for controlling an inclination angle having a prescribed inclination angle in order to take greatly an inclination angle against the tape reference surface of a tape width direction vector, and the first guide 61 for controlling a tape winding angle having a prescribed inclination angle so as to decrease the winding angle of the magnetic tape 58 by enlarging the gradient of the tape are provided vertically on the outlet side of the cylinder 12.
