PURPOSE:To obtain a method for forming a sharp colored image having excellent contrast by using a photosensitive material for panchromatic diffusion transfer on which a panchromatically color-sensitized silver halide emulsion is coated and a direct positive type photosensitive material for diffusion transfer and using a silver complex salt diffusion transfer method, etching bleach method and coloring method. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material for panchromatic diffusion transfer on which the panchromatically color-sensitized silver halide emulsion layer is coated is used and is exposed with image; thereafter the photosensitive material is superposed in an image receiving material and both materials are passed through a processing soln. for diffusion transfer and are stipped. The direct positive type photosensitive material for diffusion transfer is used with the image receiving material on whichtthe transferred image is formed as an original. Said material is exposed with the image and is superposed on the image receiving material. Both materials are passed through the processing soln. for diffusion transfer and are stripped. The two processes, i.e., the process consisting in processing the image receiving material obtd. from the transferred image with an etching bleach soln. and removing the silver image and the process consisting in using a dye liquid, dyeing the image with the dye and obtaining the dye image are then executed. The silver halide emulsion is panchromatically color-sensitized. The sharp and simple color proof having good quality is thus obtd. |
