PURPOSE:To improve a cooling effect, and to make a rotor for a rotary electric machine to correspond to high torque and high speed by operating a hollow intermediate shaft section as a spider boss in combination. CONSTITUTION:Ventilating holes 16a are formed to a plurality of support plates 16 radially welded and fixed in the axial direction at regular intervals on the outer circumference of an intermediate shaft section 14 operated as a boss in combination. A plurality of ventilating holes 17a are bored radially to a cylindrical support ring 17 welded and fastened on the outer circumferences of each support plate 15. Table tails 18a are shaped to a plurality of bonding members 18 welded and fixed in the axial direction and at regular intervals in the circumferential direction on the outer circumference of the support ring 17. A rotor core 8 is fitted to the tab tails 18a in several bonding member 18 for the rotor spiders 15 constituted in this manner and bonded and held, and clampers 9 are positioned at both ends and clamped. One end side shaft section 12 and the other end side shaft section 13 are clamped and coupled to the intermediate shaft section 14 for the rotor spiders 15 by bolts 22.
