PURPOSE:To produce an antenna of good operation gain by joining electrolytic copper foils to both faces of a dielectric base material so that their specular surface sides face each other. CONSTITUTION:With respect to a dielectric substrate, electrolytic copper foils 4 are joined to both faces of the dielectric base material so that their specular surface sides face each other. A sheet obtained by scattering and coating an epoxy resin powder on a glass cloth 1, a material obtained by laminating a prescribed number of these sheets, a sheet obtained by coating a fluororesin dispersion on the glass cloth 1 by immersion and drying it, a material obtained by laminating a prescribed number of these sheets, or the like is used as the dielectric base material. Values of (p) and (q) of rough surfaces of electrolytic copper foils are 1-10mum and 10-30mum respectively as measured results of a surface roughness meter, an electronic microscope, or the like. Those of specular surfaces of electrolytic copper foils are <=1mum and 15-30mum respectively similarly. Since electrolytic copper foils are so arranged that their specular surfaces face the dielectric base material, the antenna of good operation gain is obtained. |
