PURPOSE:To print out a gradation density signal by providing a change-over device for changing over a digital video signal or an R.G.B primary color signal and outputting, a video memory for storing an output of the change over device as a gradation density signal and a printer. CONSTITUTION:An A/D converter 1 uses a clock pulse P of a clock pulse generator 8 to sample a video signal and output gradation density signals D0-D2. A change over device 2 changes over and selects an R.G.B primary color signal and gradation density signals D0-D2 in accordance with the condition of a selecting switch 10 and outputs gradation density signals V0-V2. A writing control circuit 4 writes the gradation density signal of for instance, 640 picture elements in a horizontal direction, 234 lines in a vertical direction, in a correct address of a video memory 3 by the use of horizontal and vertical synchronous signals S1 and S2. When the writing to the image memory 3 is completed, a CPU gives a reading address a to the video memory 3, reads a gradation density signal W0 and inputs to a printer 6 as a printing data W1. Thereby, the printer 6 prints out a video signal V or the R.G.B primary color signal.
