PURPOSE:To weigh a liquid metal accurately and enable to reproduce better, by picking up the liquid metal to weight in a specific form of small tube through a filter, and improving the accuracy of size of the small tube. CONSTITUTION:By pushing out a given inert gas into a luminous tube 7 through a connecting pipe 2 and a small tube 1 by converting an air intake and exhaust device 5 into a pushing out action, the liquid metal 4 which has been picked up in the small tube 1 is exhausted into the luminous tube 7. After that, the small tube 1 and the connecting pipe 2 are pulled off the exhaust pipe 8, a necessary addition is sealed in the luminous tube 7, and the exhaust pipe 8 is sealed up and cut off. In this case, if 1.0mg of mercury is weighed as a liquid metal, this process can be repeated in an accuracy of + or -0.05mg.
