PURPOSE:To print out a gradation density signal by providing a luminance signal converting circuit for converting an R.G.B primary color signal into a video signal as the gradation density signal and a video memory for storing this gradation density signal and changing the R.G.B primary signal to a variable density of black and white. CONSTITUTION:A luminance signal converting circuit 8 converts an input signal of an R.G.B digital signal of TTL level into a video signal v and outputs. An A/D converter 1 uses a clock pulse (p) of a clock pulse generator circuit 7 to sample the video signal (v) and outputs a gradation density signal d1. A writing control circuit 3 writes the gradation density signal d1 in a video memory 2 in a timing of the clock pulse (p) by a writing command c2. When the writing to the video memory 2 is completed, a CPU 4 gives a reading address a to the video memory 2, reads a gradation density signal d2 and inputs to a printer as a printing data d3. Thereby, the printer 5 prints out an R.G.B output of a personal computer or the like.
