PURPOSE:To reduce the mutual data communication times as few as possible by connecting first and second CPUs to be fed with operating parameter system data and timing signal system data through communication lines. CONSTITUTION:Operation parameter system data to be shown by analog quantities indicating at least at engine load is fed to first CPU 1 for operating fuel injection. While timing signal system data showing at least predetermined crank angle position is fed to second CPU 2 for operating the ignition timing. They are connected through operation starting trigger signal line 26 and data transferring communication lines 27, 28 where second CPU 2 will decide whether the first CPU 1 must start operation of fuel injection every time when a timing signal will arrive and provide an operation start signal to the first CPU 1 upon decision that an operation start signal has arrived.
