PURPOSE:To obtain high accurate centering and also to prevent the flow out of melted adhesive glass, by inserting the one end of a glass tube in the broadened portion provided on one end of another glass tube. CONSTITUTION:On the both ends of the two glass tubes 32, 33 of five glass tubes broadened portions 34, 34 are provided. Said portions 34, 34 are formed for instance like a horn, and arranged so as to be located while inserting the ends of the adjacent glass tubes. The glass tubes 32, 32 provided with broadened portions 34, 34 like this are connected to the other adjacent glass tubes 31, 31 and 33, by inserting the ends of the said glass tubes 31, 31 and 33 in the broadened portions 34, 34 respectively, and then by bonding the spaces between these end portions with adhesive glass 35 airtight connections can be obtained.
