PURPOSE:To reduce the number of fan components by constituting the stalling device of a wind direction alteration plate member with an engaging piece, a fixing piece and a box-shaped cam body installed so as to rotate freely and fitting a handling knob to the revolving shaft of the box-shaped cam body. CONSTITUTION:The stalling device 10 for stalling the rotation of a wind direction alteration plate is composed of an engaging piece 11, a fixing piece 15, a spring 12 and a box-shaped cam body 16. A handling knob 21 is fixed to the shaft 18 of the cam body 16. Accordingly, it is possible to turn the handling knob 21, rotate the cam body 16 through the shaft 18 and thereby maintain the cam body 16 at the engagement and stand-by position. It is possible, therefore, to decrease the number of components of the wind direction alteration device.
