PURPOSE:To cope with a noise relatively easily by using the output of a noise detecting circuit means having the highest noise sensitivity in the whole of a system as the clear signal of a monostable multivibrator circuit and detecting abnormality by a CPU to stop the system. CONSTITUTION:A noise detecting circuit 6 has the highest noise sensitivity in the whole of the system and consists of a comparator. When the noise is not inputted, the output goes to the high level because the potential inputted to the + terminal is higher than that of the - terminal; but when the noise is inputted,the output goes to the low level. The low-level signal is inputted to a terminal CLR of a monostable multivibrator circuit 3 to set the output of a terminal Q of the circuit 3 to the low level forcibly, and the output of an AND circuit 5 to which outputs of the circuit 3 and a power reset circuit 4 are inputted is in the low level though the output of the circuit 4 is in the high level. Thus, a CPU 1 is reset by this low-level output of the circuit 5 to stop the microcomputer system.
