PEROXIDE COMPOSITION FOR CASTING MOLD

PURPOSE:To improve oxidation performance and to reduce the cost of production by forming a ketone peroxide compsn. contg. at least one kind of the dilution stabilizer of the compd. expressed by the specific constitutional formulas. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of an aliphat. ketone of 3-8C and alicyclic ketone of 6-8C is oxidized by hydrogen peroxide in the presence of an acid catalyst to form the ketone peroxide. Then at least one kind of the dilution stabilizer selected from the compd. expressed by the formulas (I), (II) is mixed therewith to form the ketone peroxide compsn. The compsn. is formed of about 20-60wt% ketone peroxide and about 80-40wt% dilution stabilizer. The peroxide compsn. formed of the above-mentioned method has the improved performance as the oxidizer and since the need for the laborious process for production is eliminated, the cost of production is reduced.
