PURPOSE:To form an image stably by domestic commercial power source by stopping image reading according to lowering of temperature of a fixing section and making temperature control during image forming. CONSTITUTION:In the case where temperature of a fixing device 2f flowered while current is applied to a heater H, a controlling section 2e sends a lowering signal 4 to a controlling section 1c, and stops operation of a color printer 2 at the time of completion of process in the course of printing. On the other hand, a reader 1 stops reading after completion of transfer of picture signals which is in progress by the signal 4. Further, the controlling section 2e detects jam on the carrying path by an input signal to a port 2h, and sends out a jam signal 5 to the controlling section 1c.
